When you ban foods or food groups from your diet you tend to want it more and you’re even more tempted to eat it when it becomes avaliable. You may call me a hypocrite since I’m vegan but I have animal’s Right beliefs behind that and I think of it as boycotting animals products so there is less harm to animals in the world. I don’t find it tempting to eat a piece of pizza with cheese and pepperoni on it because I don’t like how it got there, so instead I find recipe that can base itself On my favorite foods or foods I’ll be tempted to eat when set infront of me such as pizza, ever try a vegan pizza? I have and It’s delicious, you just have to get use to the texture of the cheese and since I don’t like the taste of meat it’s not ever on my pizzas, fresh veggies and herbs are thrown on there instead. SO my point is your less likely to feel deprived of pizza, twinkies, cookies, chips, and pop if you find healthier alternatives. And remember that occasionally indulgences make for a healthier life-style in the end by not depriving to a point where you over do it.
Send in some recipes and I can give’em a quick make-over or search for healthy recipes for you in my ask box, I’m always willing. :)
Have you ever deprived yourself of a food or food group (for a trending diet, you didn’t believe it was healthy enough, ect.) and then over do it after being too deprived of it?
