A blog making it easier to get healthy, food wise. Some I find online, some I find in books, some I make up myself, But nothing is mine unless stated. Now I know my title isn't the most appetizing title but bare with me because my goal is to make it as easy as possible to make healthy eating, easy and delicious.

About

I started this blog to make people healthier, I feel people usually aren’t healthy for basic reasons, such as being uninformed, finding it complicated, not knowing where to start, and/or needing motivation. I want people to come here for recipes, health articles, tips and more so none of the above is a problem they face when becoming and staying healthy. I do exercise everyday and I feel fitness is a big part of being overall healthy but it’s not a necessity, eating healthy is, eating with the purpose of helping the body is what it should be about, energy, nutrition, vitamins and minerals, everything the body needs to stay on top of things. So, below are FAQs and things I feel would run through your mind when reading this blog.

FAQs:

How do you stay motivated when things like brownies or french fries are put in front of you? Easy, I remember that eating is about providing the body with the nutrients it needs, unhealthy foods aren’t bad in moderation OR as occasional treats, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t focus on taste, which is another reason I started this blog to find food that taste good plus is good for you.

What’s the best way to begin a healthy lifestyle change? Food, honestly I think a healthy diet change will help keep you focused on the biggest picture, becoming healthier. Eating healthy can help you loose weight, but only if you need to loose weight, Unhealthy weight lose will never be healthy (thinspo bloggers I’m talking to you) even if you’re eating healthy foods, you’re loosing weight that doesn’t need to come off, if you weight, I don’t know, maybe 125-130 pounds and want to weight about 100, thats not good, no average woman or man should ever have a BMI (body mass index) so low where they weigh 100 pounds. If you honestly don’t like your body, healthy amounts of fitness (30 minutes at least to 2 hours at most) is the way to go.

What’s your Lifestyle (fitness and diet) like?: I exercise everyday for one hour, eat about 1,750 calories because the exercise I do is Vinyasa Yoga which burns about 445 calories an hour and I’ve found (from my doctor, you can ask your’s too) I burn about 1,300 calories without exercise, I’m also a vegan but I don’t push that on people, it’s my choice to be (for various reasons) and it’s your choice not to be. I do however Indulge in desserts or junk food occasionally (vegan and low-cal) because I believe that without those occasional indulgences I wouldn’t be able to stay healthy.

Any other Questions can be answer when you visit my ask and ask me a health related question, I’m no expert but I do know a reasonable amount about health, based on what I’ve tried and accomplished in my life (fitness and diet.) If you have any serious question ask your doctor or a registered dietitian.
